There is nothing wrong with that :)

BAYSIDEBLUEEEEE

Something is wrong here. It looks too high. But a GT-R wouldn’t ever be too high. Not a GT-R perhaps?

Nope, it’s a GTR! So many are stance-ished that it’s easy to forget how 4X4 they were stock

My god you’re right! Something he’s done isn’t right though. That bumper is actually the stock one it seems, but with the body-color lip and the side skirts, it’s somehow moved from factory-look to ricer.

Those are Nismo sideskirts, and I believe that’s a VSpec thing to have the front lip painted. Some R34s had it factory, others didn’t.

Isn’t it odd how one little change like that can change the whole look of the car?

Yeah it really is. I think it’s because the original car is so ricey as it is, and we’re just used to seeing and accepting it.

But did Nissan make a ricey car that we accept anyway? Or did they somehow do all that bodykitting in a mysterious non-ricey way?

If Nissan hadn’t made the GT-R look like that, but some tuner had, would we have accepted it then?

I must say, there are very few available body kits which make an R34 GTR look better (IMHO). They all HAVE to take it over the top in order to be more outrageous and agressive than the stock car.

I agree. And when the stock car has such a deep kit, it’s not like it’s begging for more in the same way that a Civic is**.
